On location at the NASCAR hall of fame I bust 3 packs of 1989 Maxx. This was the second year that Maxx created cards and increased the number of cards in the set from 100 to 220. They were available in 48 count wax boxes, 100 card factory sets (1-100) known as ‘The Peak Set’ and full factory sets (1-220) known as ‘Tool Box Set’ and the other as the ‘White Box). The key card is #3 which is Dale Earnhardt. This was his first solo card before the 1988 Maxx #99 cards leaked out in the mid 1990’s. There are lots of rookie and first cards to numerous drivers, owners and legends.
