I picked up some older wax to open and document on the Nascard Radio blog. My goal here is NASCAR trading card information and education. To provide some videos of what the cards were like in the particular year. Armed with this knowledge you can make educated decisions if you decide you what to purchase the product.
The 1990 Maxx set contains 200 cards and was produced in 3 different print runs. It was available in 4 different factory sets. The “Tin Set” was sold by Maxx through a mail order offer for $29.95 and contains cards from the first printing and has a glossy coating. They were also sold in a white box (1st printing), Red/White box (2nd Printing) and Red\Yellow box (3rd Printing). The lettering (15 Collector cards Drivers, teams, & Action!) on the wax packs either have white letters (1st Printing), Black lettering (2nd Printing) or Black lettering with III on them (3rd Printing).
