The 1999 Press Pass set was issued in 1 series totaling 136 cards. The set includes a number of subsets and insert sets. A parallel of each card (1 -100) was created called Skidmarks and inserted in to packs with each card individually numbered to 175. The base set was a hard set to complete because cards 101 – 136 (Tall skinny black bordered cards) where inserted one per pack. Also because of the odd size and black border they damaged veyr easy making mint sets tough.
Inserts could be found in packs for several different Insert sets. They were Chase Cars (1:12), Cup Chase (1:24), Oil Cans (1:18), Pit Stop (1:8), Showman (1:8), Triple Gear 3 in 1 Redemptions and Autographs (1:240).
A special #0 card of 1998 Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon was inserted in to packs.
